Tapestry Cottage Details
A warm welcome awaits our guests on arrival. Fresh flowers and a welcome pack of milk, bread, butter, coffee, tea and sugar are provided. The cottage is centrally heated with a constant supply of hot water. Some toiletries, all linen, tea towels and towels are provided. There are a variety of local shops, a post office, two pubs with restaurants, and an excellent Chinese Restaurant with take away, are all within 10 minutes walk. There is also a Chemist and Doctors surgery, just in case.

The cottage provides an entrance lobby (with boiler/storage cupboard); bathroom (shower/mixer tap over bath); living space with well equipped kitchen area (fridge, cooker, microwave and washing machine) lounge/dining area, with TV and video, curtained sleeping area with comfortable 5' double bed. There are a selection of board games, videos, books, and playing cards. To help plan your stay there is an extensive collection of local guides, walking, cycling and touring maps, and brochures with details of interesting places to visit.
We are ideally situated for cycling and touring Norfolk and North Suffolk's historic sites, English Heritage and National Trust properties, and the coast Southwold and East Coast, Blakeney and North Norfolk coast are within an hours drive.
The market towns of Diss, Thetford, Wymondham and Attleborough are all within a short drive. Snetterton race course and Sunday market are 10min drive away. Norwich and Bury St Edmunds with Antique centres, art galleries, museums and cathedrals are both 30 minutes drive. We are close to Bressingham Gardens and steam museum, Banham Zoo and Thetford Forest with its nature trails for walking and bike rides.
Directions: from Thetford, travel north on the A11 for approx. six miles towards Norwich and take the B1111 left turn off the A11 sign-posted for East Harling and Garboldisham. Follow the road for around two miles into the village on Church Road and fork left into White Hart Street.
